Purpose
First Step and School Watch are mobile apps for Android and iOS designed to engage children, youth, and communities in school safety assessments and disaster risk management. The outputs can be used for advocacy within school communities.
Like other CSSAS apps, the content and outputs are customised for each country.

The apps are designed for:
- Individuals
- School community
- Local education administration.
Features
- Download and Register: After customisation, app is made available on Google Play and App Store.
- Survey: Answer 15 questions on hazards, facilities, disaster management, and risk education.
- Photos: Upload images of hazards and safety activities.
- Immediate Feedback: Receive survey results and safety recommendations via email.
- Data Sharing: Automatically share survey data with education authorities.
- Admin Access: Admins can manage and analyse data through a web-based portal.
