Comprehensive School Safety Policy Survey

Comprehensive School Safety Policy Survey
Purpose
The Comprehensive School Safety Policy Survey allows government duty-bearers, policy-makers, and school safety advocates to quickly understand their progress on school safety, and identify policy and advocacy priorities.
First conducted in 2017 with the 2024 currently underway, the CSS Policy survey enables us to:
- Have a quick overview of the strengths and gaps in CSS policy at national and sub-national levels.
- Track progress on school safety over time.
- Analyse results across countries and regions.
The timeline below depicts the CSS Policy Survey key events. The first action was the Articulation of the Comprehensive School Safety Framework by the Asia Coalition for School Safety. Next was the Establishment of GADRRRES. In 2017, the first Comprehensive School Safety Policy Survey was conducted. In 2022, the CSSF and Targets and Indicators were revised. In 2024, the second CSS Policy Survey was undertaken.
