CSS Assessment Tools
CSS Assessment tools have been co-developed by GADRRRES members and partners as paid services to advance global capacity for monitoring accountability, and evidence-based planning and decision-making for school safety. They are fit-for-purpose tools, adaptable and interoperable with EMIS (Education Management Information System).
Our priorities are to:
- Develop operational guidance tools
- Support external webinar series
- Support development and promotion of both technical and non-technical assessment and guidance tools for CSS Assessment
Approach
When implementing a CSS Assessment tool, our approach is to work under the guidance of a Technical Working Group (TWG) of subject matter experts assembled with education and disaster management authorities in each country. The TWG provides oversight on localisation of the content of the survey questions, the automated reports, the algorithms behind them, as well as capacity-building for use of evidence for planning and decision-making at all levels.
The tools are developed to work alongside, and to be integrated into existing and emerging Education Management Information Systems.
